Julia Bohan is an Art Director creating print features, web longform and interactives for both Fortune and Money magazines in New York City

She's a proud midwesterner, even though she partially grew up in Hong Kong and Singapore. An internship with Elle magazine made her decide to pursue design after graduating from Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. Her career started in Chicago at the Tribune's millennial newspaper, RedEye, art directing shoots and making collages under a tight daily deadline. After moving briefly into marketing design she settled back in NYC and began working for Money magazine. Their art department merged with Fortune magazine's where she began working on two different design styles simultaneously.

She is currently learning front end development and Hindi, but sometimes gets in front of the camera for layouts. Say hello at julia.bohan@gmail.com
